有機(jī)發(fā)光場(chǎng)效應(yīng)晶體管是一種兼具場(chǎng)效應(yīng)晶體管和發(fā)光二極管兩種器件功能于一體的光電集成器件,是實(shí)現(xiàn)下一代變革性柔性顯示技術(shù)和有機(jī)電泵浦激光的理想器件基元。但是由于受到其核心高遷移率發(fā)光材料體系的限制,該類器件的發(fā)展一直嚴(yán)重滯后,限制了其相關(guān)應(yīng)用領(lǐng)域的研究。導(dǎo)致高遷移率和強(qiáng)發(fā)光特性難以集成的主要問題是,高遷移率要求分子共軛性好,堆積緊密,但是這種堆積模式會(huì)造成熒光的嚴(yán)重猝滅,反之亦然。本研究工作從分子設(shè)計(jì)源頭出發(fā),以具有強(qiáng)發(fā)光和激光特性的芴為核心基元,通過可自由旋轉(zhuǎn)C-C單鍵對(duì)其分子共軛體系和立體結(jié)構(gòu)的協(xié)同調(diào)控,突破了高遷移率和強(qiáng)熒光難以集成的科學(xué)瓶頸,獲得了具有高遷移率和發(fā)光特性的有機(jī)激光半導(dǎo)體材料,并將其進(jìn)一步應(yīng)用于有機(jī)發(fā)光場(chǎng)效應(yīng)晶體管器件構(gòu)筑,獲得了強(qiáng)的電致發(fā)光特性,為進(jìn)一步的顯示及有機(jī)電泵浦激光器件研究奠定了重要研究基礎(chǔ)。該工作發(fā)表后被選為JACS的封面文章,并受到了國內(nèi)外同行的關(guān)注和引用評(píng)價(jià)。
Dan Liu and co-workers obtained the single crystals, LD-1, which exhibited high charge carrier mobility, strong photoluminescence, excellent lasing character as well as deep-blue optical property. The results of this work represent a major step forward in the field of organic opto-electronics, and is the type of work we expect top groups to publish in JACS.
